The PSHS four-year curriculum is premised on the
following:
- Excellence is a compulsion to do the very best in every undertaking
under or in support of scholarship; indeed, it is the urge to
do more than one's best.
- The basic skills are concentrated on:
- Learning how to learn - mainly the task of the Language Program.
- Relating to other people to make life more pleasant - mainly
the task of the Social Sciences Program and the Humanities Program.
- Making decisions with wisdom and assurance - mainly the task
of the Natural Science and the Mathematics Program.
The above skills can be learned if the scholars
are physically fit, which is the main task of the Youth Development
and Citizens Army Training Program.
